Cookbooks written for people with diabetes may add variety to your meal planning. Choose a cookbook that:

  • lists the serving size and number of servings per recipe
  • lists the carbohydrate content and food exchange value for each serving
  • contains recipes with acceptable ingredients (evaluate each recipe before you use it)
